The Italian-themed evening was a tremendous success, generating a record net profit of $155,000 for the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex Foundation.
This year, the QEHC is celebrating 30 years of caring for our community.
We celebrated Marvin Corber, a leader in the Montreal Philanthropic scene. Few individuals have played a more significant role in the history of the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex than Montreal philanthropist Marvin Corber. His vision, leadership, and generosity helped lay the foundation for an organization that has served the community for three decades.
Thirty years ago, when the QEHC existed only as a bold idea, Marvin was among a small group of dedicated community leaders whose commitment and belief in the project helped transform that vision into reality and ensure its lasting success.
All net profits will benefit the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex (QEHC),which does not receive any funding from the government and relies solely on donations and community support throughout the year to fund its quality medical services and programs.
Guests enjoyed a delightful dinner prepared by the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, while Natasha Hall expertly emceed the evening.
Highlights included a raffle featuring two Economy Class return tickets to any Air Canada-scheduled destination in North America, generously donated by the Air Canada Foundation, and a gift basket from Pharmaprix Vendôme.
